Thesis Therapist

 Thesis Therapist is thesis coaching practice.  I decided to start this practice after repeatedly hearing from my  students and peers about the research challenges they have faced  at  Honours, MA and PhD levels. All too often  students find themselves struggling to formulate arguments,  use the necessary analytical skills, and find direction in their thesis writing.

As a former PhD student and postdoctoral scholar, I know how lonely and overwhelming academic research can be. Even now, as a  seasoned researcher, these feelings never completely disappear.

Even students who have experienced and involved supervisors,  often feel the need for additional  guidance. This is where I come in. At whatever stage you are in your  research journey, I am here to help you shape your argument, develop your proposal, hone your analytical and writing skills, and structure your thesis in a way which is accessible and engaging for future readers. Given the realities of the current research landscape,  we can also explore how to use AI ethically and effectively in writing your thesis.

My services are particularly aimed at students in the Humanities and Social Sciences, and include one-on-one mentoring sessions,  group workshops and thesis editing. In order to assist as many emerging researchers as possible, I conduct both the sessions and workshops over Zoom. First one-on-one consultations are free of charge.
